Dr. Sánchez studied an undergraduate degree in Biology, a Master`s in Marine and Coastal Ecosystem Studies, both by the Universidad Veracruzana, Tuxpan, Veracruz, Mexico, and a PhD in Environmental Sciences by the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo.

Among his professional experience, he has been an external consultant, external supervisor for green areas in Mexico City, and an assistant in chemistry laboratories.

He has attended several congresses such as: the LIII Annual Meeting of the Chilean Society of Genetics, the Students’ Encounter of the Mesoamerican Association of Environmental Ecotoxicology and Chemistry, the 9th National Congress and 1rst Latin Congress on Climate Change Research, the National Congress of Genetics 2018, and the 5th Latin American Zebrafish Network and Symposium.

Dr. Sánchez has co-written several articles such as “Toxicity and teratogenicity in zebrafish Danio rerio embryos exposed to chromium” as well as book chapters.
